Straight Stairlifts

Straight stairlifts are a compact solution for stairs without bends, curves or turns. They run on straight tracks, and can fit almost any straight staircase. Our types of stairlifts include those with slim, aluminium rails which are sturdy and reliable, making a perfect fit for narrow staircases.

Straight Stairlift features:

  • Retractable seatbelt for security
  • Battery powered, for use in the event of a power-cut or emergencies
  • Remote control operation

Curved Stairlifts

If your staircase has a bend, curve or turn, you will need a bespoke curved stairlift, made to fit the exact layout of your stairs. Curved stairlifts can be made to fit almost any type of stairs, and can be personalised to your exact needs. Innovative technology can also be used in curved stairlifts, to ensure they can be fitted in the tightest of spaces.

Curved Stairlift features:

  • Retractable seatbelt for security
  • Battery powered, for use in the event of a power-cut or emergencies
  • Smooth curve maneuverability creating smooth and safe journeys

Platform Stairlifts

Platform Stairlifts are perfect for those in wheelchairs or commercial environments. They enable an individual to move from one floor to another within their home, without the need to leave a wheelchair or powerchair. There are a range of platform lifts available, including enclosed, unenclosed and inclined, foldable designs.

Platform Stairlift features:

  • Designed to accommodate a wide range of access requirements
  • Foldaway options available
  • Automatic opening doors available
  • Excellent for commercial use in offices, council buildings etc to improve accessibility

Standard Features

Stairlift Hire

We do offer stairlift hire from £12 a week. To hire a stairlift, you will need a mains power supply near the stairs.

When hiring a stairlift, we will require the first three months’ rental fee upfront (this is non-refundable), along with a deposit of £500.

Installation and removal fees apply to stairlift hire.

  • Your hire fee includes servicing and breakdown cover, however, damage or misuse by the hirer will be chargeable.
  • Delivery charges vary from £30 to £50. Alternatively, you can collect your item from your local Snowdrop branch.
  • The prices above do not include VAT. Chronically sick or disabled people are eligible to buy mobility devices at 0% VAT by signing a declaration form.
