Combining your adjustable bed with the right mattress is just as important as choosing the right bed. Depending on the type of bed you have, there are two types of mattresses to consider for the perfect sleep solution.
Luxury Memory Extra
Combining a generous 90mm deep layer of memory foam with the removable Aloe Vera Coolmat™ interlayer cover, the Balmoral Memory Extra Mattress provides a soft and comfortable sleep with high pressure relieving qualities. With a user weight of 18 stone and a mattress depth of 200mm, this mattress is accessible to many and is a great option for those looking for a soft and pressure relieving option.
Luxury Pocket Memory
With specially created coil-springs, each with their own calico pockets and contained by a high-tensile webbing to ensure complete compatibility with the profiling action, it is one of our best-selling mattresses. Carefully manufactured with a generous 50mm layer of memory foam and for those requiring soft to medium pressure relieving qualities, this is one of the most comfortable mattresses available.
Pocket-sprung mattresses can be zoned. Edge zoning is the most popular type; the outside edge of each mattress is firmed making it easier for the user to transfer from, and to bed, whilst leaving the mattress centre softer for sleeping.
Standard Memory Foam
The Memory Foam Mattress combines the high quality Venteel™ memory foam layered carefully over a supportive firm foam base that provides an ideal choice for those looking for a firm mattress with pressure relieving qualities. With 25mm of memory foam and a user weight of 18 stone, this mattress is extremely comfortable providing the perfect night’s sleep.
Luxury Pocket Sprung
Designed specifically for our profiling beds, this luxury, pocket sprung upholstered mattress features deep layers of fillings and independently moving British steel springs that are individually pocketed in quality calico. With a maximum user weight of 25 stone, this double-sided, turn able mattress can be used by anyone wishing to sleep on both sides.
The Modular Community mattress boasts a waterproof, breathable cover and features castellated foam to reduce pressure on the body.
The Softform Premier is a high specification replacement mattress that includes a waterproof, breathable cover. Practical and durable, this mattress delivers an exceptional level of comfort and pressure reduction. Suitable if you are considered at high risk of developing pressure ulcers.
Softform Premier Active 2
Using clinically proven hybrid technology, the Softform Premier Active 2 hybrid mattress replacement system delivers optimal therapy at the touch of a button. A quiet, discreet power unit that can be activated to provide alternating therapy to a high specification static foam support surface without the need for patient transfer.
"New stairlift installed today by Scott the young man was polite and very efficient he explained fully how to use new lift I thank all staff at snowdrop Olivia and Suzanne who I spoke to on the phone were very reassuring and helpful "
"The crutches I have been given are so much more comfortable than the ones provided by the NHS. By having the cushion ferrells I no longer have shoulder or back pain. The moulded soft handles are so much better for my hands as I have OA in them also. I have also been informed that I walk better with them. "

"I have found the sticks to cushion the walk on tarmac, they are comfortable to hold and, because they have straps I can hang them from my wrists to enable me to look at things whilst out shopping. My posture is more even and my shoulders ache less. My step total for last week was improved - 33,219, we were in London and walked a lot - the new sticks definitely helped"
-Cath Morgan, Haverfordwest
"I bought my rollator from Snowdrop years ago and had great service choosing the best model for me, and the product is still doing well around 4 years on. When my electric wheelchair broke (due to a cable getting caught and damaged), the engineer, Ben, came to my home and repaired it within an hour, and the charge was very reasonable. I could not recommend them enough."
