Right to Return the Goods and to Receive a Refund
– Where the order is for a standard product usually stocked by Snowdrop Independent Living – the company will put into stock at no cost to customer if returned provided:
– The Customer returns the product within 14 Calendar Days of delivery of the Goods; [Delivery/Collection fee will apply if the product is delivered/collected]
– The Goods are returned in their original condition
This excludes all personal care and underwear items which may not be returned, unless the item is faulty. Where a soft furnishing or fabric item is supplied in sealed packaging this must remain unopened, but when not in such packaging then due care must be taken to protect the item from staining or contamination using appropriate barrier protection. Any product which may be contaminated or is marked in any way may not be refunded.
Where the order is for a bespoke product, and production is in the early stages – there will be a cancellation charge for costs of works to date. This is subject to the decision of the manufacturer.
Where the order is for a bespoke product, and the order is in advanced production with the manufacturer, or is completed – no cancellation of order is permitted. Payment will be due in full within the usual payment terms.
Where an assessment has been refused the customer shall take responsibility for the specifications they have supplied, and no return/cancellation is permitted.
If the Customer is dissatisfied with the quality of any Goods purchased from Snowdrop Independent Living, or feels that the specifications are not as agreed, the Customer may cancel the Contract and return the Goods to the Seller and obtain a refund of the price of the returned Goods, provided:-
There is evidence that the product does not meet the agreed specifications
The Customer informs the Seller of the decision to cancel the Contract within 14 Calendar Days of delivery of the Goods; and
The Goods are returned in their original condition, unless they are faulty.
